Step into the heartbeat of community spirit and rhythm at Witch Fest 2024 with a Witchy Drum Circle, where individuals of all backgrounds come together to connect, create, and celebrate through the power of drumming. *No previous drumming or musical experience is necessary. Led by experienced facilitator Wendy Winter Woods from Sound Synergy, this event promises an uplifting and transformative experience for participants of all ages and skill levels.

Event Highlights:

• Community Connection: Experience the joy of collaborative music-making as we celebrate unity through rhythm in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Guided Facilitation: Learn drumming techniques and rhythms that promote harmony and synchronicity within the group. No prior drumming experience is necessary – drums and percussion instruments will be loaned to participants to use.
• Creative Expression: Tap into your innate musicality and creativity as you contribute to the collective rhythm.
• Healing and Relaxation: Discover the therapeutic benefits of drumming as we collectively create a rhythmic pulse that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and fosters a sense of well-being for all participants.

What to Bring

• Open Heart and Mind: Come with a willingness to connect with others and explore the transformative power of rhythm and community.
• Comfortable Clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and comfortably participate in drumming activities.
• Optional: If you have a drum or percussion instrument you love to play, feel free to bring it along. Otherwise, instruments will be provided for use during the event.

12+ - Adult (under 16 requires a parent or legal guardian to attend)

Instructor Bio

Wendy Winter Woods, MA, is the founder of Sound Synergy, a platform dedicated to fostering community, joy, healing, and transformation through music. With a diverse background spanning healthcare, education, and corporate environments, Wendy brings a unique blend of expertise in therapeutic sound practices. As a certified advanced-level sound healing practitioner and Remo HealthRHYTHMS® drum circle facilitator, she practices at the intersection of science and sound to bring healing in an inclusive and safe space. 

At Sound Synergy, Wendy integrates her scientific knowledge with intuitive healing practices, creating tailored experiences that cater to the holistic needs of participants. Through workshops, retreats, and community events, she facilitates opportunities for individuals to unwind, express themselves, and embark on journeys of self-discovery.
